Outreach and Access to Education

I am inspired by organizations that seek to provide experiences and opportunities to students that otherwise would not be exposed to them. Pursuing a graduate education was made possible for me by organizations such as these, and as long as opportunity continues to be inequitably distributed, students will need these organizations. In neuroscience, I have been fortunate to work on a number of outreach efforts with the Dana Foundation and Hardy Middle School, including Brain Awareness Week at Georgetown University.

Additionally, I interned and now consult with the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships, an educational non-profit, to support student leadership development.
